As a little boy, I learned the true meaning of the proverb “The early bird gets the worm” through my first business adventure. Growing up in a little community in Africa, I used to go and pick up mangoes that fell under the mango trees very early in the morning to sell in the market during the day. But I was not the only one doing this, as every other little boy I knew in that community did the same business. To beat the competition, I had to wake up in the morning earlier than others, or else I will not have any business to do for that day.
Today am doing business online, but that same proverb still holds true especially in online commerce.
